DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT

Morocco Mountain Treks organize Morocco culture tour to Fes, Merzouga desert and Marrakech , with everyday departure with professional drivers, experienced guides. Today we will start private Morocco tour by city tour of Casablanca, we explore the largest city in Morocco; it is the heart of commerce and industry, you will visit Hassan II mosque built on water alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Later on, you will depart to Rabat. Stopping for lunch then having a sightseeing tour of the administrative capital of Morocco. You will visit the Royal Palace, The Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. You explore The Kasbah des Oudaias, located near to the Atlantic coast. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 2 : RABAT - MEKNES - FES:

Today we will travel to Meknes  - a city with its famous door, it is known as “The Versailles of Morocco. You will explore Bab El Mansour, one of the most beautiful gateways. Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. You will have time for lunch then visit the Old and new Medina. We visit the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun which is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. Afterward you will discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Finally drive to Fes.Enjoy your evening with traditional Moroccan dinner. We spend the night in a Riad or Hotel.

DAY 3: FES GUIDED TOUR

Today after breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour to explore the Royal city of Fès. It is UNESCO World Heritage Site and we visit here the Karaouine Mosque and the Nejjarine Marble Fountain. We will enjoy the view of the decorated gate of Bab Boujeloud, the medieval tanneries, the Royal Palace .Then visit of the Souks where merchants and craftsmen sell their hand-made jewellery, leather goods, copperware and pottery. Dinner and accommodation at a hotel.

DAY 4: FES - MIDELT - ERFOUD - DESERT OF MERZOUGA

In the morning we drive to Ifrane and Azrou. We enjoy forest of cedar. After a late lunch in Midelt, we continue passing kasbahs and palm groves, to Merzouga desert. Overnight in local hotel with dinner.

DAY 5: ERG CHEBBI CAMEL TREKKING

After breakfast in the hotel, we will go on a tour around Erg Chebbi, we will visit a house and listen to some Gnawa music, originally from Ghana and Sudan. We will visit Berber nomads and after lunch we ride camels into the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an Sahara camp with drum music in the middle of the Sahara. We will climb a high dune to see the sunset.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

After watching the sunrise, we return on camels to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower in the hotel, we will start our journey to Dades Valley. Crossing the Rissane, Erfoud, a famous town, known with it’s dates. We drive to Todgha gorges and Dades Valley where we stay in hotel with dinner.

DAY 7: DADES VALLEY  - OUARZAZATE  - KASBAH AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

Leaving Dades Valley after breakfast, driving toward Ouarzazate, Moroccan Hollywood, a backdrop of many famous films, we will visit Cinematographic museum, then to UNESCO protected site of Ait Benhaddou, the most impressive kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here, such as Gladiator. We will then leave Ait Benhaddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mount. We will cross the High Atlas mountain via the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizi n'Tichka, 2260m high. We will arrive into Marrakech in the evening.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR

Today we enjoy the sightseeing tour with local guide ,we visit the Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace. We walk through the colourful souks ,we will enjoy a amazing Jemaa el-Fnaa square from the terrace of a cafe. We drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA
