DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT - CHEFCHAOUEN

Morocco Mountain Treks organize Morocco culture tour to Fes, Merzouga desert and Marrakech , with everyday departure with professional drivers, experienced guides. After breakfast we will have a short city tour of Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco where you will visit Hassan II mosque and later on, we will explore Rabat including main sights as the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Then we continue to Chefchaouen located in Rif mountains. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN :

Free program in Chefchaouen. We spend the night in a Riad or Hotel.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - FES:

Today we drive to Fes. We spend the night in a Riad or Hotel.

DAY 4: FES GUIDED TOUR

Today after breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour to explore the Royal city of Fès. We visit medina with its ramparts and narrow streets that was declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the Bouanania and the Attarine Medersas, the Karaouine Mosque , and the Nejjarine Marble Fountain and we visit local souks. Dinner and accommodation at a hotel.

DAY 5: FES - MIDELT - ERFOUD - DESERT OF MERZOUGA

In the morning we drive to Ifrane and Azrou. We enjoy forest of cedar. After a late lunch in Midelt, we continue passing kasbahs and palm groves, to Merzouga desert. Overnight in local hotel with dinner.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA CAMEL TREKKING

After breakfast in the hotel, we will go on a tour around Erg Chebbi, we will visit a house and listen to some gnaoua music, originally from Ghana and Sudan. We will visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads and an oasis of palm trees. Towards lunchtime we return to Merzouga. After lunch we enjoy camel ride in sand dunes. We will spend the night in an camp with drum music in the middle of the Sahara watching the sunset.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

After watching the sunrise, we return on camels to Merzouga. After breakfast we drive to Rissane, Erfoud, a famous town, known with it’s dates. We will then proceed to Tinejdad, the stunning Todgha gorges and Dades Valley.

DAY 8: DADES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - KASBAH AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

Leaving Dades Valley after breakfast, driving toward Ouarzazate, Moroccan Hollywood, a backdrop of many famous films, we will visit museum, then to UNESCO protected site of Ait Benhaddou, the most impressive kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here, such as Gladiator. We will cross the High Atlas mountain via the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizi n'Tichka, 2260m high and we will arrive into Marrakech in the evening.

DAY 9: EXCURSION IN MARRAKECH

Toda you will enjoy the sightseeing tour will include: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewellery. There will be an optional lunch in the Medina, followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. We will enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jemaa El Fna square from the terrace of a cafe.

DAY 10: FREE DAY IN MARRAKECH CITY

Have a relaxed day by your own.

DAY 11: DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA

Today we explore Essaouira on Atlantic coast.

DAY 12: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
