DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CASABLANCA - FES:

Morocco Mountain Treks organize Morocco culture tour to Fes, Merzouga desert and Marrakech , with everyday departure with professional drivers, experienced guides. Today and we pick up you from your hotel in Casablanca and we drive towards Fes passing by Rabat and Meknes. We will visit the important places ,we visit also the Roman ruins in Volubilis. You’ll arrive in the evening to Fes where we stay overnight in a traditional Moroccan riad with dinner.

DAY 2 : FES IN GUIDED TOUR

We explore the medina with local city guide. We walk inside its alleys , we visit the Jewish Quarter and also the Royal Palace. We explore tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque. After lunch in the Medina, we explore new part of the city and you will have free program. Overnight accommodation at riad with dinner.

DAY 3: FES – AZROU CEDAR FOREST – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL RIDE

After breakfast we travel towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco. We pass “Ziz Gorges” carved through volcanic rock and along the spectacular Ziz Valley. We’ll drive through Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani, before arriving to Merzouga. Our camels will be waiting for us ,and we enjoy camel ride guided by an experienced camel man . the camel ride takes about 1 hour to arrive to the camp-where you will spend the night- in the middle of the highest sand dunes to enjoy the sunset and watch stars . the dinner will be served at the camp.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY:

Our camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch desert sunrise , then you ride camel back to the village. After breakfast and shower in the Riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir and Todgha gorges as the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch we explore the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight in our traditional guest house with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 5: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE –AIT BEN HADDOU - MARRAKECH

After breakfast we’ll drive towards Kalaat Mgouna , “the rose city”, and then we continue to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. We cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains before arriving to Marrakech. We drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 6: MARRAKECH
